Dr Rowan gained his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1996. Dr Rowan is a consultant physician in addiction medicine. He completed Fellowships of the Royal Australian College of Physicians’ Chapter of Addiction Medicine as well as the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. He is a member of the Australian Professional Society on Alcohol and Other Drugs and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Public Health.
