Nicholas Burke gained his medical degree from the University of Tasmania in 1978. He completed the Masters of Public Health (Occupational Medicine) at the University of Sydney in 1994, becoming a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational Medicine in 1995. He has CIME accreditation.
Dr Burke is registered in Queensland and practises in occupational medicine. He is currently a consultant to major companies such as Telstra, Shell, BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto. Dr Burke has a special interest in toxicology, musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation.

Dr Peter Clark gained his MBBS from the University of NSW in 1986 and gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College Psychiatry in 1998.
He is currently holds the position of Clinical Director Mental Health Service at the Fraser Coast Integrated Mental Health Service Pialba (Hervey Bay) Queensland.

Robert Parkes gained his qualifications at the University of Tasmania completing his studies in 1975. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine. Several of Dr Parkes areas of speciality are musculoskeletal trauma/medicine, internal medicine – liver, kidney, spleen, lungs, toxicology – exposure to chemicals, pain management, sports injuries, endocrinology, cardiology, and chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia.

Dr Simon Journeaux BSc MBBS FRCS FRACS CIME

Dr Simon Journeaux is registered in Queensland and practices in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. Since 2003 he has held the position of Director of Orthopaedics at the Mater Health Services. He is also a visiting medical officer. Dr Journeaux’s major orthopaedic elective interest is in lower limb joint replacement including hip and knee arthroplasty with a special interest in revision hip surgery.
Dr Journeaux also practices in adult and paediatric trauma and is a member of the AO Faculty teaching in Australia and internationally. He practices both in public and private practice. He currently prepares in excess of 400 independent reports a year for personal injury cases, Workcover and DVA cases.
