John Walker gained his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 1976 and his postgraduate Masters qualification from the University of Melbourne in 1987. He was awarded a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry from the University of Sydney 1996 and had, by 2005, fulfilled the academic requirements of the Queensland School of Law for admission to legal practice in Australia as a Juris Doctor. Dr Walker currently conducts private practise in Brisbane and is a lecturer/demonstrator at the University of Queensland, Department of Oral Surgery Faculty of Dentistry.
