Associate Professor Bruce Love

Summary

Dr Bruce Love has practiced in Orthopaedic surgery with particular interest in surgery of the hip and knee for more than 25 years. He attained his MBBS at the University of Melbourne in 1970. Dr Bruce Love completed his training through the Victoria Orthopaedic Training Program and did fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

Upon return to Melbourne he was appointed to the Department of Orthopaedic at St. Vincent’s Hospital where he became a senior associate in the University of Melbourne, Department of Surgery. He has subsequently been awarded the title of Associate Professor in that department.

Dr Bruce Love continues to lecture in Biomaterials for Monash University. In 2011 Dr Bruce Love has attained accreditation as a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME). His career interests concerns, lower limb reconstructive surgery, hip replacement, management of spinal disorders and knee injuries.
