Dr Anthony (Tony) Menz

Summary

Dr Anthony Menz graduated with his Bachelor or Medicine and Bachelor or Surgery from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1976. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1986, and in 1991 he became a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Dr Menz is currently a Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Ashford Hospital and Parkwynd Private Hospital in Adelaide. His previous positions include being a Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon in Darwin Private Hospital, Darwin and Mildura Private Hospital, Victoria. Dr Menz was also a Principal Practitioner in the Department of Orthopaedics, SPORTMED SA Hospital.

Per year Dr Menz performs approximately 150 total knee replacements (including revisions) and approximately 650 knee arthroscopies. He also performs a significant number of total hip replacements, ankle arthroscopies, anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions and autologous chondrocyte grafting per year.

Dr Menz has been awarded AMA5 and Comcare accreditations. He has a number of professional interests including, but not limited to, knee and ankle arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, chondral grafting and hip and knee arthroplasty. His assessment specialties include lower limb, upper limb and spinal injuries.
