Dr Arshad Barmare

Summary

Dr Arshad Barmare completed his medical degree in India in 1992. He attended the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the National University of Singapore. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the International Surgical Outcomes Study.

Dr Barmare previously held the title of the Deputy Director Orthopaedic Surgeon at Alfred Health. Currently, He is an Orthopaedic Consultant across three additional Melbourne based hospitals. Prior to his current orthopaedic surgery and academic endeavours, Dr Barmare served as an Orthopaedic Consultant with North West Regional Hospital in Burnie, Tasmania. In 2009 he took on the position of Orthopaedic Surgeon for Goulburn Valley Health.

Dr Barmare has been accredited to conduct assessments for WorkSafe Victoria, AMA 4 PI and TAC VIC.
His assessment specialties include the shoulder, knee, hip, foot, ankle and spine. He has a wealth of international medical experience and specialises in joint replacement, trauma, sports injuries, and all facets of orthopaedics and the musculoskeletal system.
