Dr James Price

Summary

Dr James Price completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 1990, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000 and Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2008. He has attained CIME accreditation which is certification for the use of the AMA Guides from the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME). Dr Price is currently in private practice in Townsville and is an Orthopaedic Visiting Officer at the Mater Hospital. He is also a Senior Lecturer at James Cook University. Prior to this, Dr Price held the position of Director of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Townsville Hospital. He is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at Mater Hospital Townsville, Member of the Australian Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society and Visiting Medical Officer Representative on the Mater Hospital Board. Dr Price is able to assess all general orthopaedic injuries, with a special interest in lower limb, hand and wrist conditions. Dr Price is available for consultations in Townsville.
